GET Digital Support is the result of helping hundreds of businesses in South Georgian Bay, Ontario through a government funded program to improve their digital marketing. 

In 2019, Founder Ben Frisch, also of BFresh.Media, responded to and won a 1 year contract to become the “Digital Service Squad” member for Collingwood and 4 other surrounding municipalities, known to many as South Georgian Bay. As a solopreneur at the time, Ben took on the task of delivering this free, hands-on service and support to local businesses. The goal was to enhance the online presence and digital marketing skills of as many as possible.

Talk about good timing… When spring of 2020 rolled around and their contract was coming to an end the entire world shut down and digital marketing support was in more demand than ever before. Thankfully, with the support of the Municipal and County partners, along with additional Provincial and Federal funding, their contract was renewed and extended several times. With the increased demand, Ben was able to hire additional team members and expand their services as they met the evolving needs of those businesses they served. 

The team was fortunate enough to provide this free service to the community until March of 2022, when the contract finally came to an end. It was an honour and a privilege to be a part of that recovery effort but all good things must come to an end. However, this did not mean the end of providing digital marketing support for small and medium sized businesses. 

As they drew closer to that end date, Ben knew that he wanted to keep the spirit of that program alive and to continue supporting even more business owners and marketers. Not just in our own little corner of the world either, we wanted this company to reach all of Canada. That is where GET Digital Support was born. A support centre, resource hub, and ad agency that offers as many of the templates and How-to guides that the team has been developing – still absolutely free. Plus a variety of advanced, agency services for those looking for next level support.
